What Happens?
What happens when positions stay empty for too long?
I’m not talking about what happens to the organization. You already know you lose productivity and harm the health of your business. I’m talking about what happens to you and everyone else in the office.
When you’re short on workers, that means other people have to take up the slack. It means long hours. It means lower-quality work. It means short tempers.
Maybe you’ll have your boss breathing down your neck. Maybe you’ll miss out on family time because you have to babysit your team after hours. Maybe you’ll even end up having to worry about your job.
Granted, not every position is going to create a crisis when it’s empty for a while. But situations like this can and do happen.
Don’t lose sleep over a few empty positions. If you have hiring to do, get in touch with VMG by phone or email today. I look forward to hearing from you.
