Our Process

What does VMG service look like? Take a peek at our process:

  1. We get to know you with a Strategy Call.
    • This Strategy Call gives us the chance to get to know your company and your situation.
    • We’ll learn about the skills your new employees need to have.
    • We’ll learn about the soft skills your employees have to have.
    • We’ll learn your office culture inside and out.
    • In short: we want to be able to predict your needs
  2. We specially prepare structured interviews for candidates.
    • Every position is different. Every manager is different. Every marketplace is different.
    • That’s why we take the time to craft performance and behavioral based interviews. We’ve got our own unique process, and we’re always working to improve it.
    • With our custom interviews, we’ll make sure the candidates you see are fitted to your culture and skills requirements.
  3. We keep you in the loop with weekly updates.
    • We know how important it is to keep communication flowing.
    • That’s why we’ll schedule a 15-minute phone call every week. We’ll keep you updated on progress and we’ll make sure we know if your needs change
    • And every Friday, your hiring manager will receive a progress report via email. We want you to see our progress.
  4. We send you the first candidate in about 10 business days.
    • Ideally, you’ll talk to the candidate and let us know how it goes.
    • It’s important that we hear your thoughts on the new candidate, so we can see how close we are to the mark. We might have to adjust our approach!
  5. We won’t stop till the position is filled!
    • We’re pretty good at what we do, so we usually only have to send three or four candidates to our clients before we’ve found the right fit.
    • But in the toughest cases, we’ll stick with it. We’ll refine our approach, week by week, keeping you informed every step of the way. Our structured process works 100 percent of the time.
